Connecting people who need clean fill dirt with contractors who have it.

NeighborFill is a FREE community pilot program that helps match homeowners who need clean fill dirt with contractors who are looking for places to dispose of excess dirt from construction projects.

This site is in beta testing. Visitors are being asked to evaluate this site and service for ease of use and provide feedback.

Homeowners: We encourage you to sign up to receive clean fill so this service can be expanded.

Contractors: This service is mostly in the Flathead.  We hope to expand to neighboring counties in the Summer of 2026. If you are likely to be hauling clean fill away from a work site in this service area you should expect to benefit from this service.

How It Works (Beta)

1. Homeowners: submit a request describing the fill they need and their location.

2. Contractors: sign up to get the latest map of available locations.

When a contractor identifies one or more offload sites near their construction site, the contractor submits a request for homeowner contact information (maximum of 6). That information is emailed to the contractor FREE of charge, hopefully within 24 hours. The homeowner and contractor then communicate directly and make their own arrangements.

NeighborFill does not schedule work, inspect material, or guarantee availability.

Who This Is For

Homeowners

• Need clean fill dirt for leveling, backfill, or landscaping

• Are located within the Flathead, Sanders, Lincoln, and Lake County area

• Understand responses may take time
  
  

Contractors

• Occasionally needing disposal locations for clean fill.  ("spoils")

• Are willing to participate as beta testers

• Agree to basic contact and material rules
