NeighborFill exists to solve a simple, local problem.
Many contractors regularly need to haul away excess dirt from construction and excavation sites. At the same time, local homeowners need clean fill dirt for projects like leveling, backfill, or landscaping. Too often, these two groups never find each other.
NeighborFill provides a simple, community-based way to make the connection.
The founder of this organization has benefited greatly from having free fill brought to his property for years. (Over 400 dump truck loads.) His site upgrade if done, but he wants to pass the blessing along. So, he created this trial program.
This is a beta-test community service, created to:
Confirm that there is real demand from homeowners
Confirm that contractors are willing to participate
Test whether a simple map-based matching system is feasable
Learn what works and what does not
The goal of this beta test is learning, not optimization or automation.

Enables participating contractors to request homeowner contact information
Leaves all coordination and decision-making to the two key people involved

Act as a broker, contractor, or hauling service
