What You Can Expect

• You submit a request with your location and basic site details

• Your general location will be shown on a map of available offload sites

• Contractors review the overview map when they have clean fill to dispose of in your general area

• If a participating contractor is interested in your site, they can request your contact information & we provide it

• You and the contractor communicate directly and make your own arrangements

• You can refuse any material you do not feel is suitable.  The inspection criteria is up to you.

• After you have received one or more loads from a contractor, we ask that you return to this web site, click on the "Contact Us" tab, and provide us with your insights on this beta-test process. We would really like to know how we can make it better.

• If you feel you have been well served and would like to “Tip” our service, we gratefully accept donations. (See “Donate” and/or FAQs for details.)

NeighborFill does not coordinate scheduling, transportation, or guarantee material quality or suitability.

Important Things to Know

• Participation is FREE

• Submissions are reviewed manually during this beta test period

• Response times are not guaranteed

• NeighborFill does not inspect, verify, or certify fill material

• All agreements are strictly between you and the contractor

• Inspect the map in a few days and confirm the dot that represents your location is roughly in the correct positioned on the map.   To protect the privacy of homeowners, the dot location will not be exact.  
  
  

Coverage Area

At this time, NeighborFill is operating in:

• Flathead County

• Lincoln County  (We have a few.  Need more.)

• Lake County   (We have a few.  Need more.)

Requests outside these areas may be recorded but may not receive responses.

Before You Submit

You should be prepared to provide:

• Property location (full address)

• Type of project (leveling, backfill, landscaping, etc.)

• Approximate amount of fill needed (if known)  (A dumptruck load is usually about 10 yards.)

• Any access considerations (driveway, turn around space, steep or muddy terrain, septic systems or overhead lines nearby, timing)

• If you require that the contractor also provide equipment to level the dumped piles, please state that fact. (Many will do that freely or for a small charge since they have the equipment.)

Providing clear information improves the chance of a response.
